The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sleuths trapped the Indian Bureau of Mines regional coordinator, Javed Ashraff, while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 here on Wednesday. According to sources in the CBI, the accused was caught red handed while accepting the graft money from an applicant seeking permission for an iron ore mine in Kurnool. The CBI arrested Ashraff and carried out searches at three places simultaneously. Incidentally, the mines and the CBI offices are housed in a same building at Koti here.
